Knob Bar Pull
How do I start my 89 seadoo jet ski?
I have a 1989 seadoo bombardier. On it is a pull choke, a fuel on/off/reserve knob, a push button with a green sticker(start), and a push button with a half green and half red sticker. What is the purpose of this last button? I just got this jet ski, it has a comptetely rebuilt engine but I can’t get any spark on it, I am pretty sure it’s that button that’s got something to do with it.
Oh and one more question, the kill switch on it is just a button and the handle bar, how does this work with a tether?
Fuel selector; “On”
If cold, pull choke out while depressing start button, release choke knob.
Did the guy who rebuilt the engine somehow modify the tether/kill switch? If not, SeaDoo usually has cap-type attachment on the end of the tether (at the end of the foam floater)…this should fit over the small button that is usually located forward of the seat, kind of between your legs…fit the cap securely over that button and press down firmly so it stay on before starting.
