Repainting kitchen ideas/colours/updates?
I have beig-ish countertops and old linoleum (again with beige tones), blonde “shaker” style cabinets (currently all BRASS 
hardware… and every painted surface is of a pink hue the dining room adjoining is also of pink hues…as are the living room walls (off the dining room) ( Ithink the previous owners wanted a colour that was “neutral and sellable”. well i’ve owned the house for 5 yrs like this now and i am due for a change!!!
I really want to go with pewter hardware and then grys, whites and charcoal for the kitchen and then bring those colours into the dining room. My question/worry: Can i get away with greys/charcoals with the blondish/honey cabinets???? most decorating sites online have really reccomended yellows (ick) and greens (ick). I want to tile the backsplash, and intend on changing countertops and flooring. (Current diningrm flooring is original 3″ T&G hardwood flooring! ) PLEASE HELP!
