Dead Bolt Lock
How do I set up my dead bolt lock so i can unlock without a key?
My friends and I live in dorms and want a way to enter each rooms while keeping others out. We have one dead bolt lock on the door. We can’t change the lock but I was think using a battery powered mechanism that would turn the the lock to unlock or lock it. with a switch ability so it can be turned off during nights.
They (people that make sure rules are followed) are not allowed unlock the door and enter the room without probable cause. But, if the room is open they can look around. Also, we don’t want to open the room to them if with have more than 6 people in the room (not allowed). We don’t want open the door to people we don’t like (pretend we can’t hear them or pretend we’re not in the room)
